"5 years ago when I was 23 I adopted Tj the actor in this film. He was four at the time and wanted to be an actor. I was a director ... so we were the perfect match! I'll never forget the moment I first saw him and he walked up to me and said 'Hello mummy' even though he'd never met me or my husband before. But I'll also never forget the difficulties Tj went through before he came to stay, and how brave he was that day he met us."
