Christopher Whitlow was born on the Isle of Man and has always enjoyed sport and acting. He acted in many productions whilst studying Economics at University and upon graduation, moved to London in order to pursue acting as a profession. Christopher studied contemporary drama at RADA and landed his first film role playing Carl in Noel Clarkʼs thriller 4.3.2.1. Following this, Christopher was cast to play the double for the principal character John Carter in the Disney film John Carter of Mars directed by Andrew Stanton. He then played Ragnar in The Humble Theatre Company's production of The Master Builder at The Junction, Cambridge and The New Wimbledon Theatre, London. Christopher is a member of the Professional Actors Centre in London.
TJ was a born performer, he loves to entertain other people and is a talented singer, actor and dancer.
He trains at SOAR School of Arts and has
previously performed in a number of their productions.
High As A Kai is TJ's movie acting debut.
Marian trained at Courtyard theatre and London Academy of Performing Arts. Credits include The Master Builder (The Junction, Cambridge, New Wimbledon Theatre, London); The Tolystoy Tales (Camden People's theatre); Far From the Madding Crowd (Upstairs at the Gatehouse) What If (Reykjavik); The Snow Queen (Kings Theatre Southsea); Kissing it Better (colour house Theatre); Waste Disposal (Old Red Lion); The Tempest (Open Air Tour); A Midsummer Nightʼs Dream (Open Air Tour); Elegies for Angels, Punks and Raging Queens (Brentwood Theatre/ Fortune Theatre).
Director Jodi De Souza trained professionally in musical theatre at Italia Conti for three years and after leaving worked freelance as a theatre director, choreographer, writer, producer and performer gaining the experience of working in some of the finest auditoria in England, including The Royal Albert Hall, The Hammersmith Apollo, The Theatre Royal Haymarket and Wembley. In 2006 she was commissioned to write and direct the first live theatrical performance in 80 years for the famous Coronet Cinema in Notting Hill which would juxtapose moving image with live performance. She then opened The Humble Theatre Company (www.humbletheatre.com) for which she became artistic director and directed/produced 10 shows from the London and Edinburgh fringe to London's West End.
Jodi often uses moving image in live performance and she is currently doing a Masters by Research (part time) entitled 'The Big Screen Centre Stage: the director's use of moving image in contemporary theatre'.
High As A Kai is Jodi's first un-commissioned short film.

Her wide-ranging work expands from studio and on location portraits to nature, high fashion photography, and production shots. Rhian has worked for several theatre and film companies taking productions shots. For High As A Kai, her role was director of still photography.
